EMMY ROUND UP POST(s)!!!
Part 1 of 5. No, really. Bear with me, folks.
First up is Best and Worst Dressed. The two things you basically need to know about last night’s fashion trends: red and trains. So much red that I actually think I went either half blind or semi communist. Result TBD.
In saying that, I think the best dressed will have to go to my girl crush Kate Winslet, who looked stunning in a red dress by Elie Saab, complete with mini train. I love that she seemed so comfortable in it, and not sewed in a la that corset scene in Titanic.
My wanna be BFF Cat Deeley gets a close runner up in a stunning monique lhullier gown. girl seriously can do no wrong. she doesn’t even have a stylist!
Other #winning dresses of the night go to Sophia Vergara in Vera Wang (thank you for knowing when to put the girls away, unlike Christina Hendricks), Julie Bowen in Oscar de la Renta (sleek, yet a stand out dress. perfect for winning an Emmy), Aubrey Plaza in Juan Carlos Oblado (if only she would smile at least once), and Emily Blunt in Ellie Saab (this would be much better without the flower belt. and if j kras was taking me to the Emmys).
Worst dressed definitely goes to Julianna Margulies. I mean, I don’t care if it’s Armani Prive, get those glass leech looking items off your dress. and why are there a total of like 10 sporadically spread through the top?? confused.
Overall, well done ladies. Just try not to all wear the same color next time, kay?
